Made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, the 2013 Côtes du Roussillon Villages Initial shines for its elegance and purity more than for power and richness. Offering up subtle notes of classy dark fruits, cassis, dried violets, spice and licorice, it’s medium-bodied, has fine, polished tannin and a seamless texture on the palate. It will drink nicely for 4-5 years. Drink through 2021. Wine Advocate Magazine  2013 Vintage.
